Short version: we collect as little as possible, use it only to reply to you and do the work, and never sell it.
This website belongs to MILES ’N MILES, an independent design studio. We are responsible for the personal data described on this page.
Questions about your data? Email us. You get a reply within 14 days.
Your name, email address, brand or company, timeline and whatever you tell us about the project. We use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to prepare a proposal and do the work. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and the contract itself (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
Your email address. We use it only to send occasional studio notes. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw whenever you like.
Like every website, our host receives technical data when your browser loads a page: your IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
This site sets no cookies.
If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is remembered in your own browser (local storage) so the site looks the same next time. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.
We never sell your data. We use a few services to run the studio, and they process data on our behalf:
Some of these companies are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
You can ask us to show you the data we have about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you in a usable file. You can also object to how we use it and withdraw consent at any time. Email milesnmilesstudio@gmail.com; we may ask you to confirm it’s really you.
Not happy with how we handle it? You can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
We don’t make automated decisions about you.
The site is served over an encrypted connection (https). We keep access to inquiries and client files limited to the studio.
If what we do with data changes, we update this page and the date below.
